Duties & Responsibilities


  1. Prepare the annual operating plan for the marketing function

  2. Montior volume and share growth against the plan and recommend necessary revisiona/solutions

  3. Monitor competior’s activities including, dealer, consumer trends and customer promotions, new launches and recommend appropriate and innovative marketing solutions to be undertaken

  4. Plan efficient marketing operations while maintaining strict contraol on expenditures

  5. Fomulate, discuss and finalise with General Managers, Regional Heads of sales a company wide advertising and promotion policy

  6. Determine the need, objectives, and required actions for both consumer and customer promotions and develop programs to achieve said goals

  7. Develop strategies to ensure effective and measurable in-store execution of promotional items such as coolers, in-store signs, etc

  8. Ensure market reasearch is up-to-date and analyze all the necessary date including distribution, total market share by flavour etc.

  9. Communicate research data and findings to the NSDM and the regional heads of sales

  10. Ensure that annual business objectives of key amangers are aligned with the company’s business goals

  11. Improve organizational capability by regularly providing coaching, team building support, motivation and training

  12. Identify high potential employees and motivate them by providing the career development to succes and to meet the changing needs of the business

    Job Requirements

    Bachelor degree in business administration or a related field, MBA a plus. 12 + years work experience in sales & marketing with at least 4 years at senior management level in a muli-national )preferably a beverage company or other FMCG industry) Operational marketing experience an advantage
