Location: Dar es salaam.
The purpose of the
five-year USAID Public Sector Systems Strengthening (PS3) project in Tanzania is to strengthen existing Government of Tanzania (GOT) systems at national and local levels to improve service delivery across sectors.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for day to day TMA operations, managing the organization’s HR, helping and creating organizational and program budgets in collaboration with other staff member .He/she will report to Executive Secretary. This position's primary responsibility is ensuring organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for the organizations financial and operations functions. Working with the management team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices.
Key qualifications and experience
Operations manager will be required to possess the following minimum qualifications:
• At least Bachelor degree in Economics or related field or equivalent qualification from a reputable and university
•Working experience with USAID funded projects for at least two years
In addition to the
position-specific requirements of each individual opening, understanding of USAID administrative procedures and requirements is highly desirable, and applicants should have a willingness and ability to travel and/or potentially be based outside of Dar es Salaam.
