Job Overview

FHI 360/EpIC seeks a consultant to provide technical oversight to strengthen HIV-related laboratory services. The role involves improving laboratory coordination, viral load (VL) management, and diagnostic integration for TB and Advanced HIV Disease (AHD).

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee HIV-related laboratory services, ensuring alignment with national standards and EpIC targets.
• Strengthen HIV testing algorithms, VL/EID sample services, and result turnaround times.
• Support TB diagnostic integration (GeneXpert) and AHD services (CD4, CrAg, TB-LAM).
• Monitor laboratory commodity management, forecasting, and stock redistribution.
• Provide mentorship and supportive supervision to facility laboratory personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Molecular Biology, or related biomedical field.
• Valid professional registration with the Medical Laboratory Council.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical or public health laboratories, specifically supporting PEPFAR programs.
