About the Role

We are hiring a Joinery Estimator to support our commercial operations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in quantity estimation, tender costing, and contract administration for both factory and site-based joinery projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Estimate material quantities and prepare costing for tenders
• Take off quantities from drawings and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
• Evaluate progress of work for factory and site claims/invoicing
• Review tender vs. construction drawings and price variations accordingly
• Reconcile actual scope of work with BOQ to ensure alignment with client orders
• Liaise with subcontractors and prepare agreements and progress payments as per contract
• Track and record all variation orders for accurate claim submissions
• Prepare pricing for variation orders and communicate to clients for approval
• Draft and follow up on project claims and small job applications
• Prepare monthly payment certificates and ensure all supporting documents are submitted
• Analyze and distribute cost allowances to supervisors and production teams
• Communicate contractual issues to clients and project managers promptly

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience, ideally in a joinery or contracting environment
• Strong ability to interpret and work with shop and construction drawings
