Main Purpose

The Project Finance Lead provides strategic financial leadership for donor-funded projects (USAID, EU, SIDA, etc.), ensuring compliance, risk management, and high-quality reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development and consolidation of project budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor donor compliance (USAID, EU, NORAD) and manage financial risks.
  • Coordinate monthly Budget vs. Actual (BVA) sessions and donor financial reports.
  • Lead and coach a team of Senior Project Finance Officers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
  • CPA-T / ACCA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project financial management in an international NGO.
