Qualifications

  • Valid Tanzanian driving license.
  • Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Telecommunications, Electronics, IT, Security Systems, or related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in security systems.
  • Hands-on experience with CCTV, electric fence, access control, and intrusion detection.
  • Experience with IP-based systems and network configurations.

Additional Requirements

  • Electrical and electronic proficiency.
  • Strong diagnostics and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to perform routine systems maintenance.
  • Safety awareness and communication skills.
  • Project management abilities.

Key Accountabilities

  • Install and maintain CCTV, alarms, access control, video intercoms, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Configure network connections for remote monitoring.
  • Conduct system tests, site surveys, and final inspections.
  • Install and repair electric fencing.
  • Provide training to users on system operations.
  • Diagnose and repair faulty equipment or software.
  • Install GPS tracking systems.
  • Respond to emergency system malfunctions and callouts.
