Job Title: HR Officer – Sales & Operations Support
Reporting to: Managing Director

Role Summary
The HR Officer – Sales & Operations Support is a strategic HR role with the primary responsibility of enabling business growth by attracting, onboarding, developing, and retaining high-performing sales and operations teams. The role combines HR functions—talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, HR strategy—with active support for client acquisition and sales enablement.


Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Talent Acquisition & Resourcing (30%)
  • Onboarding & Sales Enablement (15%)
  • Ensure timely hiring and onboarding to minimize vacancy gaps and track time-to-hire metrics.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment: job design, advertising, shortlisting, interviews, assessments, and reference checks.
  • Design and execute proactive recruitment strategies for sales, clearing, warehouse, and operations talent.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline and candidate database.

Outsourcing & Contractor Management (5%)

  • Ensure outsourced staff adhere to Hakadosh standards and operational requirements.

Employee Relations & Attendance

  • Maintain employee records and ensure timely renewal of contracts.
  • Monitor attendance, leave requests, and timesheets for sales and operations staff.
  • Support managers in resolving workplace issues and investigations.
  • Work with Sales to support client pitches, proposals, demos, pilots, and onboarding activities.

Performance Management & Training

  • Coordinate probation reviews, appraisals, and induction programs.
  • Implement performance frameworks for Sales & Operations (KPIs, targets, scorecards).
  • Facilitate role-specific training (sales techniques, product knowledge, ERP/Odoo use).
  • Manage outsourcing supplier relationships, enforcing contracts and KPIs.

Compensation & Compliance

  • Ensure payroll inputs, salary administration, and statutory contributions (NSSF, PAYE) are accurate and timely.
  • Keep HR policies updated and ensure compliance with labor laws.
  • Support disciplinary, grievance, and contractual matters.
  • Advise on incentive and commission structures aligned with business goals.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial awareness.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in HR metrics and reporting.
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in HRIS/ERP systems (Odoo desirable) and MS Office.
  • Strong facilitation and coaching skills.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Time-to-fill critical Sales & Operations roles (< 30 days for key posts).
  • New hires’ productivity ramp-up within 90 days.
  • Retention rate and turnover reduction of Sales teams.
  • Completion rate of performance reviews and development plans.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field (Master’s degree an advantage).
  • 5–7 years’ progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years supporting sales or operations in logistics, manufacturing, or trading.
  • Proven expertise in recruitment, performance management, learning & development, and employee relations.
  • Experience in sales enablement or business development support is highly preferred.
