Monitoring and evaluation specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead the development, implementation, and management of monitoring and evaluation systems to ensure project effectiveness and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement M&E frameworks, tools, and methodologies for ongoing projects.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to inform project decisions.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
• Provide technical support and training to project staff on M&E processes.
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements and organizational standards.
• Identify opportunities for improving project performance through data-driven insights.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation in development projects.
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in data management tools (Excel, SPSS, STATA, or similar).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
