Job Summary

We are seeking a Branch Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day running of our Nyeri facility. This is a leadership role for a results-driven professional who will oversee people, systems, compliance, patient service, and financial discipline. The role reports to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and partners closely with the Branch Doctor In-Charge and Nairobi support teams.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Service Delivery

Oversee all non-clinical operations at the branch (front office, administration, finance, procurement, facilities, and support staff).
Ensure patient-centred service delivery standards are consistently met.
Serve as custodian of branch performance reports and use data to guide decision-making.

Compliance & Governance

Ensure all licenses and statutory requirements are current and displayed.
Implement hospital policies and standard operating procedures in line with CEH standards.
Maintain a culture of transparency, ethics, and accountability.

Finance & Administration

Approve petty cash, waiver sheets, purchase orders, and requisitions within set limits.
Monitor branch budgets, collections, and expenses to ensure financial discipline.
Submit timely and accurate operational and financial reports to the COO.

Planning & Growth

Support implementation of strategies to increase patient volumes and services.
Analyse operational trends to identify opportunities for efficiency, cost savings, and revenue growth.
Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, community leaders, regulators, and other stakeholders.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field (Finance/Accounting background is an advantage).
Minimum 5 years’ progressive experience in operations or general management, ideally in healthcare, hospitality, or other service industries.
Strong financial oversight and reporting skills.
Proven leadership ability with experience managing teams and operations.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
