Job Summary

The ERP Project Manager will oversee the management and delivery of both existing and new company projects, ensuring completion within defined timelines and compliance with all specified deliverables. The role involves leading implementation and reporting efforts by effectively coordinating resources, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to drive strategic objectives and promote operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, goals, resources, and ensure adherence to timelines and deliverables.
  • Coordinate approval processes for project deliverables and documentation, ensuring timely follow-up on payments.
  • Monitor budgets, resources, and risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee client relations by managing expectations and maintaining stakeholder alignment.
  • Identify project risks and create contingency plans.
  • Manage cross-functional teams: assign tasks, delegate roles, and foster collaboration.
  • Prepare proposals and act as bid manager when required.
  • Maintain records, documentation, and report project outcomes.
  • Facilitate meetings, updates, and reporting across all levels.
  • Provide regular status reports and end-of-project summaries.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree is mandatory.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Must be a resident of Tanzania.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ERP project management.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is required.

Key Competencies

  • Experience managing at least 2 large ERP projects in Africa, including extended on-site implementation.
  • Willingness to work on-site at different locations in the African region for long durations during implementation.
  • ERP product certification.
  • Strong learning ability and adaptability.
  • Proven leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation

Salary Package: TZS 4,000,000 net per month.
