Job Summary

The Sales Data Coordinator (Data Analyst) is responsible for managing, analyzing, and reporting on sales data to support the sales team in achieving their targets. The role involves coordinating data collection, ensuring accuracy, and providing actionable insights to improve sales strategies, with a strong emphasis on the effective use of Data Management Systems (DMS).

Full Job Description

1. Data Management

  • Collect and organize sales data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintain and update sales databases and DMS to ensure data integrity.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure timely entry of data from all relevant departments.

2. Reporting

  • Generate regular sales reports and dashboards for management and the sales team.
  • Analyze sales trends using DMS tools and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor sales performance against targets.

3. Collaboration

Work closely with key departments to ensure accuracy and alignment of data:

  • Stores Department: For accurate return reports.
  • Finance Department: For financial data verification and reporting accuracy.
  • Dispatch Team: For accurate product allocation details.
  • Marketing and Editorial Teams: To align sales insights with company objectives and campaigns.

4. Quality Assurance

  • Conduct regular audits of sales data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain proper documentation of all reports, updates, and changes to ensure data traceability.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, or database management.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and DMS tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
