Job Summary

Vet View Academy Limited is seeking a qualified and passionate Kindergarten Teacher to foster and facilitate the intellectual, emotional, and social development of young learners. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and creativity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a complete teaching plan for kindergarten learners.
  • Teach the alphabet, numeracy, and essential personal, social, and emotional skills.
  • Organize engaging learning materials and resources.
  • Use a variety of creative instructional methods — including songs, stories, games, media, art, and outdoor activities — to motivate children.
  • Maintain open and professional communication with parents regarding student progress.
  • Assess and document students’ performance and development on a regular basis.
  • Monitor classroom interactions and encourage teamwork and cooperation.
  • Collaborate closely with administrative staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Adhere to teaching standards and maintain a safe, positive learning environment.

Requirements and Skills

  • Minimum Qualification: Diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience.
  • Proven experience as a Kindergarten Teacher, Assistant, or Teacher Aide.
  • Excellent understanding of child development and modern education practices.
  • Creative, flexible, and patient teaching approach.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office) is an added advantage.
