About the Role:
Doulas by the Bay is seeking a Board-Certified or Nationally Certified Lactation Consultant to deliver live virtual breastfeeding classes across Africa. The curriculum is ready — we need an engaging, knowledgeable educator who can teach with warmth, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach virtual breastfeeding education sessions via Zoom to expecting and new families.
• Deliver the established curriculum in an engaging, supportive manner.
• Provide evidence-based guidance on breastfeeding and lactation.
• Offer compassionate, culturally sensitive education to families from diverse backgrounds.
• Collaborate with the doula team and educational coordinators to ensure consistent messaging.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified (IBCLC) or Nationally Certified Lactation Consultant.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting women and families with breastfeeding.
• Prior teaching or group facilitation experience (online or in-person).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Reliable internet connection and comfort using Zoom.
• Passionate about maternal and infant health, family education, and empowerment.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Start Date: Immediate (training and orientation provided)
• Schedule: Part-time initially, with potential for full-time
• Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and hours
