Role Overview

HR World Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Demand Planner to join their Supply Chain team. The role focuses on creating accurate forecasts, collaborating with sales, marketing, and production teams, and supporting the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align supply and demand efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Create statistical forecasts using the company’s planning tool, ensuring continuous improvement in accuracy.
• Liaise with sales and marketing to collect business intelligence for monthly Demand Review Meetings.
• Support the Planning Manager during the Demand Review Meeting to finalize the unconstrained demand plan.
• Provide reports on forecast accuracy and stability month-to-month.
• Coordinate with Production Planners to ensure finished goods availability.
• Support Sales and Operations Planning meetings, resolving conflicts between Sales and Production priorities.
• Keep stakeholders informed on progress against agreed plans.
• Ascertain actual inventories, constraints, and future goods flows across departments.
• Align S&OP Plan with Business Plan Process (BPP) objectives and sales forecast volumes.
• Support planning for new product introductions from launch to retirement.
• Manage minimum stock balances to maintain supplier lead times and stock holding policies.
• Reconcile Safety Stock policies to prevent loss of sales.
• Ensure MRP systems operate in line with sales volumes and reorder points.
• Track adherence to production plans and monitor improvements.
• Communicate constraints affecting customer delivery dates.
• Establish and maintain a Master Data system and implement solutions to translate demand inputs into supply.
• Contribute to departmental and company planning and budgeting cycles, including the annual BPP.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of general experience in Supply Chain, with minimum 5 years in a demand planning role.
• Experience in manufacturing or consumer goods industries.
• ERP system end-user experience, preferably SAP ERP.
• Exposure to planning tools such as SAP IBP, Kinaxis RapidResponse, or O9 Solutions is preferred.
