About the Position

Axmed is seeking a curious, analytical, and driven Global Health Advisory Analyst to join its Global Health Advisory (GHA) team. The role involves generating insights, analyses, and deliverables that inform strategies to improve access to medicines across Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs).

Key Responsibilities

Research & Analysis

  • Conduct data-driven and literature-based analyses on LMIC healthcare markets, disease landscapes, and access barriers.
  • Synthesize complex information from multiple sources into clear, actionable insights.
  • Support quantitative and qualitative analyses on topics like portfolio strategy, health financing, and system readiness.
  • Contribute to the design of research tools, frameworks, and analytical models.

Client Deliverables & Communication

  • Develop structured reports, presentations, and briefing materials that clearly communicate insights.
  • Assist in preparing meeting materials and contribute to client discussions.
  • Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in all outputs and documentation.

Innovative Financing & Market Access

  • Research innovative financing mechanisms and assess their application in LMICs.
  • Analyze market and financing data to support access strategy recommendations.

Team Contribution & Learning

  • Collaborate with senior team members to deliver high-quality outputs within deadlines.
  • Demonstrate ownership and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Build knowledge in LMIC health systems, access dynamics, and market shaping.
  • Embrace feedback, seek learning opportunities, and contribute to shared tools and frameworks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Life Sciences, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year professional experience (consulting, global health, or life sciences preferred).
  • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with structured, clear presentation.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Stata, R, Tableau, or Power BI is an advantage.
  • Enthusiasm for improving access to medicines and healthcare outcomes in LMICs.
  • Comfort in a dynamic, feedback-driven, and entrepreneurial work environment.
