Position Overview

The Human Resource Officer – Learning and Development will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing employee training and development programs aimed at strengthening staff skills and organizational capacity. The role will also support other HR functions as assigned by management.

Reports to: Human Resource Business Partner


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver training and development programs including induction, compliance, and skill enhancement initiatives.
  • Prepare and manage the annual training calendar in collaboration with the HR Business Partner.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on training effectiveness to ensure measurable ROI (Return on Investment).
  • Maintain detailed training records, contracts, attendance sheets, and related documentation.
  • Ensure full compliance with company hygiene and safety standards.
  • Support additional HR responsibilities and projects as directed by management.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related Social Science field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in Learning & Development or broader HR roles.
  • Proven experience in planning and coordinating employee training initiatives.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to design and deliver engaging training content.
  • Analytical mindset for evaluating training outcomes and ROI.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with basic HR information systems.
