Structural Field Engineer – Kiambu

Summary: The Structural Field Engineer oversees all structural works on-site, ensuring full compliance with engineering specifications, QA/QC standards, safety policies, and construction documentation for large-scale high-rise projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect structural works including rebar, concrete, steel, and post-tensioning.
• Approve shop drawings, material certificates, and method statements.
• Resolve technical issues and coordinate with design consultants.
• Ensure compliance with ACI, AISC, ASCE, and local building codes.
• Maintain site records and enforce safety standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8–12 years site structural engineering experience.
• Experience with high-rise (20+ floors) construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural analysis tools.
• Experience with international EPC contractors is an advantage.
