Overview

Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions seeks an Internal Controls Specialist to lead financial compliance, risk management, and governance across the CAFR Sales Area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and strengthen the Internal Controls Framework.
  • Perform risk assessments, audits, and process reviews.
  • Manage Workiva compliance tools, ESG, SoD, and regulatory adherence.
  • Conduct training on compliance and internal controls.
  • Oversee Capex compliance, inventory and asset audits.
  • Lead risk-based reviews and fraud prevention initiatives.
  • Use analytics tools for predictive risk management.
  • Drive process improvement for efficiency and cost optimization.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting/Auditing/Finance or similar.
  • 5+ years in internal controls, compliance & risk management.
  • Proficiency with Power BI, OneStream, Workiva, Aurora, etc.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience with Proxora, Trade Express, Sandvik tools is an added bonus.
