Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily shunting operations and ensure smooth cargo flow.
  • Coordinate truck movements and container uplifts.
  • Manage operational staff and ensure shift readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with weight limits and warehouse/port rules.
  • Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings.
  • Track turnaround times, delays, and resource utilization.
  • Maintain documentation and digital record systems.
  • Resolve operational challenges and escalate unresolved issues timely.
  • Drive operational innovation and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

  • University degree in a relevant field or equivalent vocational experience.
  • Strong Excel skills and communication abilities.
  • Management experience in transport/logistics.
  • High computer literacy and excellent administrative skills.
