Job Overview

TSN is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Officer Grade II to join their team. This role focuses on driving sales, managing distribution, and enhancing market presence through strategic initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities

To sell advertisement space.
To direct and attend customers.
To prepare periodic sales reports.
To collect advertisement revenue.
To develop individual objectives/targets and performance standards in consultation with the head of section.
To appoint newspaper agents and identify more distribution and selling points.
To collect sales proceeds and verify returned newspapers.
To monitor newspaper delivery and report status to Head Office on a daily basis.
To prepare weekly and monthly circulation sales and newspaper returns collection and sales reports.
To conduct market surveillance and intelligence to check TSN’s performance against competitors’ products.
To perform any other duties as may be assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields: Economics, Agricultural Economics, Marketing, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Commerce, or Business Administration (majoring in Marketing, Sales, or Entrepreneurship).
Equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions are also acceptable.
