Job Overview

TSN is seeking two (2) qualified and motivated ICT Officer Grade II – Developers to join our Information and Communication Technology team. These roles involve developing, implementing, and maintaining software applications, databases, and network infrastructure to support organizational operations and digital transformation.

Duties and Responsibilities

Software Development & Database Management

• Develop back-end and front-end connectivity solutions
• Design, implement, and test databases
• Implement security and access control into databases
• Ensure software purchases are implemented timely

Security Management

• Install, configure, and update anti-virus software
• Alert users on various security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities
• Implement security mechanisms and controls in computer systems
• Implement network security guidelines

Network Infrastructure

• Design, install, and configure LAN and WAN infrastructure
• Test network equipment and devices
• Perform network troubleshooting and repair

Web Development & Multimedia

• Develop and test web pages and multimedia content
• Update web pages and multimedia components
• Implement security for web pages and multimedia content

Data Management & User Support

• Key in data and upload formatted data to computer servers
• Validate, check, and verify dates and times input to and output from information systems
• Analyze user requirements and provide technical solutions
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by supervisors

Qualifications

Education

• Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields:
  • Computer Science
  • Information Systems
  • Information Technology
  • Computer Engineering
• Equivalent computer qualifications from recognized institutions will also be considered

Technical Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in software development (front-end and back-end)
• Experience with database design, implementation, and security
• Knowledge of network infrastructure (LAN/WAN) design and configuration
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices
• Web development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)
• Multimedia content development and management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
