About the Company
Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL) is a Limited Liability Company incorporated under the Companies Act (CAP 212) in 2002, following the dissolution of the former Air Tanzania Corporation (ATC). The company is 100% owned by the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania.

ATCL is currently implementing a 5-Year Corporate Strategic Plan (2022/23–2026/27) to strengthen its fleet and provide reliable, seamless, safe, and high-quality services.

To support its expansion ambitions and enhance flight operations, ATCL invites applications from qualified candidates for the following positions:

  • Captain B767/B787/B737/A220/Q400/Q300 – (23 Posts)
  • First Officer – (45 Posts)
  • Cabin Crew – French Speaking (10 Posts)
  • Cabin Crew – Chinese Speaking (10 Posts)
  • Cabin Crew – General (80 Posts)
  • Accountant I (Cost Accounting) – (1 Post)
  • Ramp Assistant II – (4 Posts)

Minimum Entry Qualifications (Examples)

  • Captains: ATPL License, 3500+ flying hours, 1000 PIC hours, valid type rating, ICAO English 4+
  • First Officers: CPL License, 250+ flying hours, Multi-Engine & Instrument Rating, ICAO English 4+
  • Cabin Crew: Form IV Certificate, Cabin Crew Certificate (TCAA), minimum height/reach, fluency in English & Swahili (extra languages an advantage)
  • Accountant: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy/Finance, CPA/ACCA, 4 years’ experience
  • Ramp Assistant: Secondary Education, Aviation-related Certificate
