Capacity Strengthening Advisor (2 Positions) – JSI

Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania | Type: Full-Time | Deadline: 5 December 2025

JSI seeks two Capacity Strengthening Advisors to provide technical leadership and mentorship to improve pharmaceutical services, supply chain management, data use, and workforce capacity under the NextGen Ugavi Bora, Afya Bora Project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support commodity management across regions and councils.
  • Strengthen eLMIS, DHIS2, BUQ, and reporting systems.
  • Mentor staff on rational medicine use and pharmacovigilance.
  • Support MTCs, RHMTs, CHMTs, and health facilities.
  • Coordinate data-driven performance improvement processes.
  • Deliver training and build institutional capacity.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Pharmacy, Supply Chain, Public Health, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years experience in supply chain or pharmaceutical management.
  • Expertise in eLMIS, DHIS2, BUQ.
  • Strong analytical, mentorship, and problem-solving skills.
