About the Opportunity
Equity Bank is seeking six Branch Managers to provide leadership and achieve high performance by ensuring employee development and engagement. The role focuses on growing the company’s market share by identifying new markets and creating unique customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Growth

• Responsible for business development and marketing activities for overall business growth.
• Assess key markets and business opportunities for bank’s products and services.
• Formulate and implement business development strategies and marketing plans.
• Grow the number of accounts, carded customers, agents, and merchants.

Leadership & Performance Management

• Provide leadership to achieve high performance through employee development and engagement.
• Foster partnerships and maintain business relations with key industry players.
• Manage and monitor branch budget.

Intelligence & Strategy

• Gather intelligence on customers, competitors, and market trends through research.
• Work with other departments on product/service enhancement to ensure customer delight.
• Monitor the existing business portfolio and new accounts performance.

Qualifications and Key Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 5+ years in banking, with a focus on business development and relationship management.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and coaching skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of bank risks, AML, KYC policy guidelines, and bank procedures.
