Position Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Country General Manager to lead and develop the company’s operations in South Sudan.
This is a strategic leadership role overseeing multiple subsidiaries of the group. The successful candidate will drive business growth, ensure operational excellence, and maintain profitability in a complex and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute a strategic vision for the South Sudan market in line with group goals.
Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Lead operational activities with a focus on efficiency, productivity, and compliance.
Build and empower high-performing teams and foster a culture of accountability.
Develop and maintain relationships with government, clients, and community stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and risk management standards.
Provide regular analytical reports to the executive team to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or a related field.
MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
18–20 years of progressive business or operations management experience.
At least 12 years in senior leadership roles.
Proven success in driving business growth and managing diverse, cross-market teams.
