About the Opportunity
DCB Commercial Bank Plc is a fully-fledged retail and commercial bank in Tanzania, serving over 3 million customers across the country. We are seeking a Manager for Product Development & Digital Banking to develop products, strategies, and business cases for all upcoming and enhanced products to accelerate business growth and improve customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
Partnership & Strategy

• Build business cases for partnership opportunities, including ROI analysis and competitive differentiation.
• Negotiate partnership terms, commercial models, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Represent the bank in fintech ecosystems, conferences, and innovation networks.

Product Development & Management

• Define and own the digital banking product roadmap in collaboration with fintech partners.
• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept and partner onboarding to launch and improvement.
• Translate customer needs and business goals into product requirements and user stories.

Coordination & Compliance

• Coordinate across product, technology, compliance, legal, risk, and operations teams.
• Ensure fintech solutions meet all internal risk, data privacy, and compliance standards.
• Work with UX/UI, engineering, and partner teams to deliver seamless digital experiences.

Performance Tracking

• Define and track KPIs for product success (e.g., adoption, engagement, revenue contribution).

Qualifications and Key Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, Information Technology or related field.
• At least 5 years working experience in Digital Banking, Product Development, or a related function.
• Strong understanding of Digital Banking channels, retail banking products, and payments systems.
• Demonstrated experience in project management and product development.
• Strong analytical, planning, and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities.
