About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading telecommunications provider, seeks to recruit a Trade Development Representative. The role focuses on channel visitations to drive retailer awareness and turnaround on SIMs & Float, while ensuring excellent visibility and merchandising at points of purchase for SSOs and T-Kash agents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage the identification and recruitment of Agents, targeting mobile money outlets and high-traffic retail stores.
  • Visit SSOs & Agents regularly using agreed route plans (beat plans).
  • Provide all requisite tools for transactions and train SSOs and TKash Agents on processes.
  • Train agents on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and SSOs on KYC processes for SIM registration.
  • Monitor and effectively enforce stock rules for agents and ensure SSOs have adequate SIM stock.
  • Develop and maintain merchandising standards by availing materials at SSOs and Agent outlets.

Qualifications and Key Skills

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a sales and distribution role in an FMCG or Telco environment.
  • Customer focus and strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent networking and partnership-building abilities.
  • Analytical thinking.
