About the Role:
Doulas by the Bay is seeking a Certified Midwife with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on maternity experience to deliver virtual classes on pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum care. Using the established curriculum, you will guide parents across Africa with clinical expertise and compassionate teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate virtual classes on pregnancy, labor, and birth preparation via Zoom.
• Teach from Doulas by the Bay’s existing curriculum, adding clinical insight and practical examples.
• Provide evidence-based, compassionate education on pregnancy, labor, and postpartum recovery.
• Collaborate with the doula and lactation teams to ensure continuity of care and education.
• Offer personalized guidance and respond to participants’ questions with warmth and professionalism.

Qualifications:

• Certified Midwife (registered with a national or recognized board).
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Prior teaching or facilitation experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to connect with diverse families virtually.
• Reliable internet access and familiarity with Zoom.
• Passionate about maternal and newborn health, family education, and empowerment.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Start Date: Immediate (orientation provided)
• Schedule: Part-time initially, with potential for full-time
• Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and teaching hours
