🧭 Job Purpose

Responsible for managing Agri-Wholesale and Partnerships Solutions and implementations, encompassing the full product lifecycle. The role requires delivering value-added, innovative solutions with top-tier execution standards and creativity.


⚙️ Main Responsibilities

Business Direction

  • Participate in client engagements and sales initiatives with cross-functional teams for seamless client service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager to define digital payment and collection strategies for Agri-Wholesale customers and wholesale banking partners.
  • Design tailored Agri-Wholesale products and partnership services aligned with client goals.
  • Cultivate relationships with key partners, including Money Transfer Organizations (MTOs) and government agencies.
  • Manage risk and regulatory compliance for Agri-Wholesale and partnership products.
  • Stay updated with market and strategic trends to inform product development and pricing strategies.
  • Develop empathy and understanding of current challenges within Transaction Banking.
  • Conduct market data analysis to drive product strategies and investments.
  • Lead and manage complex transaction service projects for Agri-Wholesale clients and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with partner teams to enhance end-customer experiences using data capabilities.
  • Build relationships with internal departments (Marketing, Communications, Operations) to maintain strong service delivery.
  • Support post-implementation reviews for complex deals and ensure continuous improvement.

Business Management

  • Innovate and gather client requirements for new solutions.
  • Prioritize multiple project requirements for coherent product delivery.
  • Translate customer requirements into functional specifications and collaborate with product managers.
  • Work with Technology, Operations, and Client Segments to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Promote digitized and cross-border financial solutions for increased market visibility.
  • Engage teams in testing and product development cycles.
  • Monitor sales program execution and ensure customer satisfaction surveys are reviewed regularly.

🧠 Knowledge and Skills

  • Deep understanding of Tanzanian Banking products, systems, and international banking solutions.
  • Strong expertise in Transaction Banking and related digital financial services.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of banking regulations and compliance standards.
  • Strong stakeholder management and project management capabilities.
  • Risk management, credit analysis, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with emerging financial technologies and system integration.

🎓 Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Business, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
  • Master’s Degree in Business Studies (added advantage).
  • Project Management Certification (added advantage).
  • Postgraduate education or banking certifications preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Transactional Banking, Cash Management, or Project Management.
