Job Title: Safety & Quality Manager (Re-advertisement)

Preamble

The Safety and Quality Assurance Manager shall support Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Quality Assurance in all TMHS and customer services.
They will be responsible for devising and establishing safety and quality procedures, standards, and specifications while promoting continuous improvement in all TMHS operations and customer processes.


Responsibilities

  1. Oversee, monitor, evaluate, and carry out frequent inspection and testing of company OHS equipment and systems to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  2. Diagnose and resolve any customer complaints or equipment malfunctions within 24 hours — otherwise escalate to the Managing Director.
  3. Develop and update guidelines, manuals, forms, and checklists for tender processes and OHS consultancy execution.
  4. Identify, attain, and maintain necessary certifications and accreditations for OHS consultancy works.
  5. Identify and liaise with organizations needing OHS consultancy services to secure working contracts.
  6. Plan, coordinate, and supervise all OHS consultancy projects to ensure compliance with SOPs and legal requirements.
  7. Set clear departmental strategies and ensure resources are effectively used to achieve goals.
  8. Attend professional development courses to maintain up-to-date skills and accreditations.
  9. Conduct competitor and customer analysis to develop user-friendly and cost-effective OHS service packages.
  10. Coordinate and organize the laboratory quality management program to maintain compliance and promote improvement.
  11. Facilitate improvement efforts, train staff, and conduct quality-related programs.
  12. Conduct periodic quality assessments of all TMHS facilities, industries, and services, including ambulance and air rescue.
  13. Prepare quality trending reports on staff, systems, and service standards.
  14. Ensure ISO standards (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 & ISO 14001:2015) are implemented and followed in daily operations.
  15. Submit monthly and annual progress reports to senior management as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Sciences and Management

Experience
