About the Role:
Lead the operational and strategic management of logistics across East Africa, ensuring compliance with standards, emergency preparedness, and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management: Act as a role model, explain strategy, drive operational objectives, and develop employees.
• Steering: Execute regional logistics strategy, KPI monitoring, action plans, and service-level agreements.
• Professional Channel: Ensure effective recruitment, onboarding, capacity building, and staff deployment.
• Standards Deployment: Implement HI standards, emergency preparedness, and donor compliance.
• Risk Management: Maintain risk matrices, internal controls, audits, and incident follow-ups.
• Operational Implementation: Oversee supply chain, facilities, and budget management.
• ICT Supervision: Manage ICT providers, ensure cybersecurity compliance, and define action plans.

Requirements:

• Degree in logistics, supply chain, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years as Logistics Coordinator at Regional level + 3 years as Logistics Manager at Country level.
• Strong team management, capacity building, planning, and procurement skills.
• Proficient in IT tools (Power BI, WebApp, Office 365, Link).
• Excellent interpersonal, intercultural, communication, and negotiation skills.
