Job Overview

Jhpiego is recruiting Research Assistants for a 2-week field data collection study focused on HPV Vaccination sustainability in Tanzania. The study covers 8 regions and 16 councils, aiming to document evidence on the switch to single-dose vaccine routinization.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Data Collection: Conduct interviews and obtain participant consent following strict study protocols.
• Digital Management: Use tablets/smartphones for electronic data collection and ensure secure short-term data storage.
• Reporting: Attend daily feedback sessions with Team Leaders and report field challenges promptly.
• Ethics: Strictly adhere to research ethics and data integrity procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Public Health, Nursing, Statistics, Sociology, or relevant medical fields.
• Experience: Previous experience in qualitative and quantitative research within the last 2 years.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in electronic data collection tools and Microsoft Office.
• Language: Ability to read and write fluently in both English and Swahili.
