Position: School Nurse

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing first aid and routine healthcare services to students and staff.
  • Administering and storing medication safely, following all health and safety regulations.
  • Maintaining accurate health records and managing emergency care when needed.
  • Offering health advice and education to students, teachers, and parents.
  • Supporting the school in developing and implementing health-related policies.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must possess the following:

  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
  • Valid registration and license with the relevant professional board.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with young people in a school environment.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with parents, teachers, and line managers.
  • Experience in administering medication and handling emergencies is an added advantage.
